For the second year in a row, Zoocasa is honoured to be on The Globe and Mail’s 2020 ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies.

Launched in 2019, the Canada’s Top Growing Companies editorial ranking aims to celebrate entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded, independent businesses across the country. With a three-year growth rate of 244%, we’re proud to rank among such an inspiring set of Canadian companies for the second time.

To our clients – thank you all for trusting us to guide you through the significant milestone of renting, buying or selling a home. To our team – we wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you. Thank you for your resilience, focus, and drive as we navigate the peaks and the valleys together. I am so grateful to be working with you as we reimagine how Canadians find their next home.

When we won this award last year, it was the first time we were publicly recognized for our traction in Canada’s very crowded real estate and tech marketplace. Since then, we were also recognized by Deloitte for our growth in Canada, and were in great company among household names like Tesla, Uber, PayPal, Netflix and Canada Goose on Financial Times’ list of fastest growing companies across North and South America. What an honour!

And it goes without saying that 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us, but we’ve had a lot to look forward to. This June marked 5 years since we relaunched Zoocasa, an exciting milestone for our team. In May, just before our 5-year anniversary, we hired our 100th real estate agent (and are still hiring!) and crossed over $1B in home sale transactions that same month!

This summer, we also unveiled our refreshed brand! While our name, our team, and the high quality experience we continuously strive for stays the same – what’s changed is the look and feel of every aspect of our visual identity to showcase how much we’ve grown over the past five years. This better reflects the level and quality of service we provide, and sets us up for sustained growth in the future.

As a team, we have a lot to be grateful for and to look forward to! This is only the beginning, and we’re excited for the road ahead.
