JUST BOUGHT: While most Canadian millennials are struggling to purchase their first home, Kylie Jenner is already onto her fourth, at the tender age of 19. She recently closed on a US$12-million mansion in Hidden Hills. The home sits on 1.43 acres of land, and features a chef’s kitchen with two islands (why not?), a covered patio with fire pit, large pool and spa, six-car garage, and a custom theater and game room. This only covers a few of the features this beautiful home has to offer.
Patrick Dempsey’s Pacific Palisades mansion

JUST SOLD: While actor Patrick Dempsey, best known for his role as McDreamy on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, may have purchased his L.A. home, Mrs. Dreamy – his wife, Jillian – has just sold it. The home was a part of a divorce settlement in 2015, and though the couple has since reconciled, she still owns the property. Initially purchased for US$6.1 million in 2015, the property sold for an astounding US$7.57 million. It features a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen, an expansive great room, a library, and a massage parlor. Outside there is a large pool with a spa, and a separate guesthouse.
Ellen DeGeneres’s L.A. condo

FOR SALE: Daytime chat show queen Ellen DeGeneres is listing the trendy L.A. condo she owns in the 24-story Beverly West building. Purchased back in 2014 for US$6.2 million, she will make a tidy profit if she gets the US$7 million she’s asking for. The home has all of the bells and whistles of a luxury condo with floor-to-ceiling windows, full-height wine fridge, and open city views. Amenities include 24-hour doormen, valet services, and a fitness centre with a Pilates room – and loads of space for spontaneous dancing.
Bethenny Frankel’s New York loft
(3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3,600 sq. ft.) – US$6.95 million
FOR SALE: The Real Housewives of New York City star, and SkinnyGirl creator is listing the once-happy home she shared with former husband, Jason Hoppy. The 3,600-square-foot loft was purchased back in 2011, and Bethenny has since put in extensive renovations. The home boasts a master bedroom with a custom-fitted dressing room, an on-site garage, and two guest/family bedrooms. If you want a piece of this reality, you only need to a drop a few million dollars.
Angelina Jolie’s Hidden Hills rental

LEASING: Sound familiar? That’s because it is. Angie is on the move again with her brood of six, following last week’s rental from celebrity pal, Bryan Singer. This week she’s settling into a rental from another celebrity pal, Denise Richards. This much larger mansion is tucked behind and is guard gated in the aptly named Hidden Hills. The home features a wine lounge, an enormous kitchen, a private chef to cater to her every need, and two side-by-side lagoon-style swimming pools. If only we all had friends like Angie.
