Vancouver residential property sales are up 28.9 per cent this month versus June 2014. With increased competition from buyers, prices for all residential properties in Metro Vancouver has increased 4.4 per cent bringing the benchmark price in the area to $628,200. Although sales are up, the current number of properties listed for sale in Greater Vancouver is down 7.4 per cent compared to June 2013. With listing down and buyers competing for homes sales of all types of homes – detached, apartment & attached – have posted double digit growth in June 2014.
