[Tweet “#TorontoHomeSales post double-digit growth increasing 15.4% in June”]

Once again Toronto home sales posted double-digit growth increasing 15.4 percent versus June 2013 with over 10,000 homes being sold in the GTA.  Although the number of new listings in the GTA also grew, the 8.3% growth in listings was less than the annual rate making Toronto a strong sellers market as buyers continue to compete in bidding wars across the city.  As a result, prices continue to climb with the average selling price for June $568K.  In the war to find their dream home, house hunters sought out all home types with the strongest growth in sales being semi-detached which was up 22% versus previous year.
