August brought out a variety of buyers in our hot Toronto Real Estate Market.

In the first fourteen days of August, Toronto buyers were out looking for properties of all types.  With sales for all major home types up between 5% to 31%, sellers are still enjoying a prosperous selling season.  Once again, semi-detached and detached home sales posted the strongest growth at 30.9% and 12.3% respectively in the 416 area.  This hot market means consumers have to reach deeper into their pockets for homes as prices are growing across all home types with detached homes posting a 10.6% growth versus this time last year.   With the number of home sales growing faster then the number of listings there is no shortage of bidding wars in the Toronto market August thus far.
