Oshawa is a city located on Lake Ontario’s shoreline. Oshawa originates from the Ojibwa term aaz haway, meaning “the crossing place.” It’s the perfect place to call home whether you’re looking for urban living or a more relaxed, suburban lifestyle. With easy access to amenities such as shopping centres, parks, beaches, and entertainment venues, there’s something for everyone in Oshawa.

Living in Oshawa offers the convenience of being close to all the amenities yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Toronto. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as skiing on Lakeridge Ski Resort, running or walking along Lakeview Park Trail or fishing off waterfront docks. The city also offers plenty of public transit options, including VIA Rail and GO Transit, so commuting is simple and convenient.
