This week in celebrity real estate: Want a home with a piece of silver screen history? From the childhood abode of actresses Elle and Dakota Fanning to the former home of the legendary Greta Garbo, a number of storied listings have hit the market this week.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s Santa Barbara Villa

(6 bed, 6 bath + 2 half bath, 10,000 sq. ft., US$45 million)

FOR SALE: Funny lady Ellen and actress Portia de Rossi are offloading one of their many properties, a stunning Tuscan-style villa nested in the Santa Barbara hills. This beautifully landscaped property features a lot filled with olive and eucalyptus trees, exposed beam ceilings and Italian tiles, roman-style and lap pools, tennis court, and lovely alfresco dining area. It’s a little slice of Italy in the California landscape – renowned architect Wallace Frost built the home in the 1930’s following an extended stay in the boot-shaped country. It’s the second time since October that the power couple has listed a property, previously putting this LA condo on the market.

Sean Comb’s Manhattan Condo

(2 bed, 2.5 bath, 2,292 sq. ft., US$5.7 million)

SOLD: The rapper formerly known as Puff Daddy / P Diddy, has finally sold his Manhattan unit, after nearly four years on the market – and several price cuts. This impressive condo is nothing to sneer at though, with 66th-floor Central Park views, den with wet bar, and in-house spa and fitness amenities. While the rapper got less than the original asking price of $8.5 million, we’re sure he’s relieved to have offloaded this piece of his real estate portfolio, and keeping the mantra of Mo Money, Mo Problems in mind.

David Chase’s West Chelsea Penthouse

(5 bed, 4 bath, 5,000 sq. ft., US$14.95 million)

FOR SALE: American writer and TV producer David Chase, known for creating cult hits Northern Exposure and The Sopranos, has considerably lowered the asking price for his West Chelsea penthouse. He’s been trying to sell the apartment (actually made up of two separate units with approved building plans to combine them) since May 2016, originally asking $19.5 million. The pre-war units feature 10-foot ceilings, chevron-patterned oak floors, lacquered walls, chef’s kitchen, master suite with six (!) closets, and spa-like en suite with soaker tub. It’s truly the perfect place to live #likeaboss.
