Mid-Month July Homes Sold in Toronto (GTA)

Along with warm weather, July brings promise buyers will be able to find a home that meets their needs.

The new month has brought with it signs that growth in new listings could begin to outpace growth in sales. The housing market continued to have strong progress in sales during the first 14 days of July with deals up 11.6 per cent over the same time last year. What buyers have been waiting to hear is the tight market has gently loosened up with a slow increase in the supply of homes for sale – up 9.7 per cent from last year. The growth in new listings still fell short of that of sales, but the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) suggests house hunters could see more choice in homes in the second half of 2014.
