Luxury on Wellington

There are approximately 459 new build condo and townhouse projects happening in the GTA. 419 of theses are in Toronto proper. 16 are in Etobicoke, 12 in Scarborough, 16 in Vaughan, 4 in Thornhill and 1 in North York. That is a lot of new homes! Can Toronto really handle this mass influx of dwellers? It seems like no matter what time of day if you are in the core there is traffic and there are traffic jams. The alternative, the TTC, is crowded and not always a pleasant experience. However, put this negative Nelly aside (who is kidding who), many of these new condos are gorgeous and take luxury to a whole new level.

Take for instance 500 Wellington West, one of the Freed Development projects well underway and almost ready to move in to. This 10-storey boutique building will be home to 17 half or full floor loft’s ranging in size from a gracious 2500 square feet to a palatial 6000 square footprint.

Luxury does have a price and these range from $1.5 million up to $5 million but Freed Developments being generous have included parking and storage in the price.

Whew. What a relief!

Freed projects are exceptional in design and finishes and I am sure 500 Wellington will take this to a whole new level.

About the Contributor

Before Heather Rovet started matching people with the right home, she spent many years putting people in the right clothes as a wardrobe stylist for the television and film industry. Both are very much the same to Heather – it’s about listening to functional needs and understanding a person’s vision – and she brings those two key elements together to find the right solution. With a love for the unity of beauty and order within a space, Heather feels that our homes are the place in which this can be reflected and defined.

Coupled with a passionate and keen eye for style and design, Heather sees the potential in the reality and helps clients to really envision their dream space. Whether it is a starter property, an upgrade, an income property or one’s own private sanctuary, Heather works with her clients every step of the way to put them in the home that is right for them.
