Question of the Week: How do I find out what a house sold for?

Prior to completion date, that info is covered by the Privacy Act. The new rules say Realtors(tm) should not give out that info without consent of the Buyer and Seller – unless we’re using that info to compare to a neighbouring property.

After completion and registration of the deed, it [the sale price] is public information that is available to anyone through the Registry Office.
