How do I find out what a house sold for?
-
-
Prior to completion date that info is covered by the Privacy Act. The new rules say Realtors(tm) should not give out that info without consent of Buyer and Seller .... unless we're using that info to compare to a neighbouring property - sheesh the rules are much tougher... but I guess privacy is privacy.
After completion and registration of deed it is public information available to anyone through the Registry Office

there are rules regarding this, but a good place to start is to ask your local realtor

The easiest way is to ask your agent... they can help you if you are considering buying or selling.

Here are what you could do:
a:Go to my Website.( Under the Listings you could find tools that may help you or give you some idea)
b:Call a Realtor in your area or call me to refer you to one.All the best

All the above replies are good. You can also check with your local land registry office.

You DON't need to call a Realtor. Once the house closes, you can go to the land registry office and see how much it sold for. It is public information ONCE IT CLOSES. If you want to find out how much it sold for before it closes, then Realtors have access to that type of information. Technically you are supposed to be their client for them to give you that information and it does not get reported until the deal is firm.
