Growing up on Long Island, I thought I would be in the autobody business for my whole life until a friend pushed me to take my realtor’s license exam. I’m still grateful to that friend to this day because I’m shocked at the accomplishments I’ve made through working in real estate.
Moving to South Florida from New York, becoming the top producer in sales and sides at eXp Realty for 2023, working with large institutional investors and buyers – I never would have expected any of this in my wildest dreams. But a big part of what got me to where I am today is my strong work ethic, and of course, the incredible support from my wife, Kristine.
How I Found Success In My Niche
I work with many investors and institutional buyers, and I’ve managed to keep some of these clients for a solid 10 years. That’s because I really go the extra mile to make sure that they’re happy – ensuring that their properties close, reducing city fines on their properties, and making sure that I answer the phone and get updates on every single one of their properties. Whether it’s hearing about showings that come in or handling squatters in the house, going the extra mile for my clients is what sets me apart from other agents.
Another key to my success is my hands-on approach. Even though I have two assistants, a virtual assistant, and 32 agents in my downline, I make it a point to answer every lead first. I make that initial call because big companies and clients want to talk to the person at the helm. Even if I’m out to dinner, I’m not going to pass up on a lead. I’ll take the call, let them know I’m currently out, and promise to call back as soon as I’m home. But after I introduce myself and engage with that warm/hot lead I pass it down to one of my buyer’s agents.
If You Want to Be Successful in Real Estate, Here’s My Advice:
Always answer your phone and emails: You never know who’s on the other end of the phone, it could be an investor, a great buyer, or someone who brings your business to the next level. Treat every phone call or email as a potential gateway to new opportunities and growth.
Be knowledgeable: Know everything about what your clients are looking for, about the area you’re showing them, and answer as many questions as you can without hesitating. From listing details to your client’s financial situation, it pays to know it all inside out.

Network and expand your horizons: Go to social media and advertise for yourself. Get in front of the camera, be yourself and showcase your expertise. The more you interact, the more you connect with potential clients and partners all over the map.
Work hard and put in the hours: Real estate is a tough business. There’s a lot of agents out there but if you stay strong, work hard and consistently put in the effort, you’ll see the rewards. I can personally say that it’s a very worthwhile career and the hard work does pay off.
