Guelph is a city in Southwestern Ontario known as The Royal City. Located at the intersection of three highways, it is 22 km east of Kitchener and 70 km west of downtown Toronto. Guelph is an important agricultural, manufacturing and educational centre with a range of products from clothing to electric transformers. It has a rich Indigenous history and is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation of the Anishinaabek Peoples. Many First Nations, Inuit and Métis people live in Guelph today.

We can thank Guelph for condos! The city developed a system for easily converting units into condominiums. It was so successful that Chicago used it as its model, and it has since become a North American standard.

The benchmark price of a home across all property types in Guelph was $824,500 as of April 2023. The city had 485 new listings and 372 sales in April, with those sales numbers 19.5% below the 10-year average.

The benchmark list price for single-family homes in Guelph was $925,800 in April 2023, compared to $904,700 in March, trending up by 2.3% month-over-month.
