This week in celebrity homes: Kylie Jenner rents the ultimate party palace, Kate Upton seeks seclusion, and Leonardo DiCaprio moves on from Studio City.
Kylie Jenner’s Luxe Miami Airbnb
(3 beds, 3 baths, 6,700 sq ft., US$8,000 per night)
RENTED: The youngest of the Jenner clan has been indulging in a luxurious – though temporary – change of scenery, renting this Hibiscus Island ocean-side villa for a whopping $8,000 per night. Valued at $12 million, this 6,700 sq ft., home is the perfect party pad with sweeping views of the Miami skyline, outdoor kitchen and bar, infinity pool, movie theatre and gym. Though she’s just renting it, we can’t help but wonder if Kylie will be tempted to add this to her already impressive real estate portfolio.
Kate Upton’s Benedict Canyon Mansion
(5 beds, 6 baths, 5,521 sq ft., US$5.25 million)
BOUGHT: Actress and Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton and fiancé Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander have recently snapped up this gorgeous canyon home. Located on a sprawling 1.5-acre lot, this secluded mansion offers plenty of privacy along with a library, white marble kitchen, high vaulted wood ceilings, and a tennis court courtesy of former owner Pete Sampras. In fact, this home has quite the pedigreed list of former owners, including Kenny G and I Love Lucy director William Asher – plus Vin Diesel reportedly lives next door.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Studio City Ranch House
(4 beds, 3 baths, 3,407 sq ft., US$2.2 million)
SOLD: The Wolfpack leader is on the move again, offloading the Studio City Ranch House he listed in October. While he netted slightly less than the $2.395 million he originally asked for, we’re sure his bank account can handle it. This 1930’s ranch-style home is located on a huge 15,000 square-foot lot, and features granite finishes, a brick back patio and pool view – plus plenty of trees for privacy.
Samantha Ronson’s Santa Monica Bungalow
(2 beds, 2 baths, 1,110 sq ft., US$1.3 million)
FOR SALE: Famed DJ Samantha Ronson has listed the charming Santa Monica home she has lived in since 2012, putting it on the market for US$1.3 million – a relative steal compared to some Toronto real estate prices! Located in the coveted Rose District, this 1,110 square-foot bungalow features warm wood finishes, claw foot tub, enclosed backyard and custom graffiti by the front door. No word on whether former gal pal Lilo has graced these walls.
