I love travelling and I love staying in nice hotels. I think this idea of hotel inspired condo living is awesome. It might just be like living on a permanent holiday. The BISHA Hotel and Residence, which is in its early stages of development has caught my eye. This combined vision from Sam Herzog and Mel Pearl of Lifetime Developments and Charles Khabouth of INK Entertainment promises to be luxury with an edge. Located at 56 Blue Jays Way just south of King Street. They are preserving the original historical façade of the Diesel Playhouse, which is going to look really cool.
Featuring a 41-storey tower designed by award winning Wallman Architects, the building will encompass 332 elegant condominium suites from floors 12 thru 39 and 100 hotel rooms from floor 4 thru 10. Interior design by award winning Munge Leung will no doubt be stylish and sleek. This deluxe hotel inspired lifestyle which might just be the ultimate way to live comes with a private club/lounge with a caterer’s kitchen, 2 restaurants and a 24 hour café and bar, an exclusive rooftop infinity pool and restaurant with cabana style seating and poolside service. Say no more! But there is more! A state of the art fitness centre, three exclusive elevators for the residence and 3 for the hotel, a high-end salon, personal fitness training, pet walking, dry cleaning, housekeeping, grocery delivery and last but not least ROOM SERVICE!
The suites will have 9 foot exposed concrete ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with amazing city views. All cabinetry designed by Munge Leung and is available in several choices along with pre-finished engineered flooring in all principle rooms. All appliances will be stainless steel and the stainless steel under-mount kitchen sink comes with designer selected faucets. Surely these are going to be gorgeous suites. How much you ask? Well the studios starting around 379 feet start in the low 300’s and the Signature Collections suites coming in around the 2 million mark.
So when can I move in? Sometime in the 2014 perhaps.
