The Rink at Rockefeller Center is one of the most famous outdoor ice skating rinks in the world, open every winter since 1936. Located right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, it’s instantly recognizable for its towering Christmas tree. Guests can glide across the ice while surrounded by the city’s skyscrapers and the buzz of holiday shoppers, making it the ultimate New York holiday experience. 

Tips & Details: 

  • Purchase tickets online ahead of time.
  • On some days, the rink opens as early as 7 AM. Going earlier can help you score cheaper tickets and beat the crowds.
  • Skating sessions are limited to 60 minutes.
  • Skate rentals available (extra charge).

Admission: $22 to $124 depending on time of day

Skating By The Sea: Coronado, CA
