Zoocasa Ask PROS Question of the Week:

“What happens if the buyer of our home changes his mind after the deal is signed and all?”

Featured Answer:

A Buyer CANNOT change his/her mind after the contract becomes firm as it is a legal, binding document. However, it does on occasion happen, for many different reasons (which we won’t get into here).

The first step is to inform your lawyer of the situation and he/she will guide you through the options. It is disheartening when it does happen. The best advice is to remove the emotions (which there is many) and focus on solving the issue.

It always gets solved, 100% of the time – the only question is which option is the best choice for you. Your lawyer will advise you and your professional Realtor will get the job done!
