According to the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), Greater Toronto REALTORS® reported 3,350 sales through the TorontoMLS system during the first half of November 2014–that’s up 8.3% year over year. New listings are also up, though not as dramatically, by 2.2%.

The average price of Toronto home sales during the first two weeks of November was $579,834–up 7.6% from 2013.

Home buyers in the GTA continue to compete for what TREB is calling, “a constrained supply of singles, semis and townhouses.”
