The Canadian Real Estate Association reports that 21,840 homes were sold countrywide during Canada’s turbulent 2022 market. The national average home price fell from $626,316 in December to $612,204 in January, a 2.3% decrease. From a bachelor in Toronto to a single-family home in British Columbia, $500,000 is a price point with very diverse listings.
