Homes sold in Vancouver for March 2014

Spring is in full swing and there’s a lot of activity in the market. Check out our monthly infographic of homes sold in Vancouver for March 2014.

Industry experts mention that listing activity and home sales continue to chart a steady path for the Greater Vancouver region’s market. Ray Harris, president of the REBGV mentions that there is a consistent balance between seller and buyer demand in the market over the last year. The Zoocasa team has crunched the numbers below.

Sales breakdown

For the Greater Vancouver area, 2,641 sales were made during the month compared to the 2,347 made in the same time last year. New listings for the month were at 5,281 compared to 4,839 of the same time last year. The current number of listings for sale stands at 14,476. The average price for all residential properties for the Metro Vancouver region is at $615K.
