Celebrity Homes of the Week: Miley Cyrus, Raymond Floyd, Gregory J. Bonann, Colin Cowherd

Miley Cyrus

(5 bed, 5 bath, 33 acres, US$5.8 million)

BOUGHT: There’s a party in the USA! That’s what happens after you buy a new house right? Or does the novelty wear off after you’ve bought multiple properties? The former Miss Hannah Montana Can’t Be Tamed when it comes to her real estate ambitions: she’s bought yet another house, this one in her home state in Nashville, TN.  The five-bed, five-bathroom abode has a country feel with wood flooring and sliding barn doors and an equestrian barn out back.  The 33-acre lot also comes with a pool with a spa, a putting green and a three-car garage. All this for $5.8 million!

Raymond Floyd

(12 bed, 10,000 sq. ft., US$25 million)

FOR SALE: Golfing legend Raymond Floyd is teeing off his mansion in Southampton, NY.  The 10,000-square-foot house is on the market for $25 million and is a classic example of mid-century architecture: white picket fence, covered porches with wicker furniture and scattered with planted flowers cover the 3.25-acre lot, which also includes a guest house. The main house has a whopping 12 bedrooms, a kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a gym and wine cellar, and a separate area for the staff.  Just a stone’s throw from the main house is the five-bedroom guesthouse, just in case 12 bedrooms weren’t enough for all your vistors! Outdoors there is a pool, dining area, a couple gardens and fruit trees. Of course, a golfing star also needs…a tennis court? Yup, no need for a private putting green when you have a handful of golf courses nearby.

Gregory J. Bonann

(4 bed, 4.5 bath, US$9 million)

FOR SALE: As the Baywatch era ends, so does beach house ownership, apparently. Co-creator of the popular 90’s TV staple, Gregory J. Bonann, is the latest of the crew to list a Malibu house (Pam Anderson is also offloading her nearby abode), for just under $9 million.

The 3,200-square-foot beach house has made previous appearances on the market at $11 million and $8 million with no buyer in sight. Will third time be the charm? After all, there’s lots to love: the main entrance features a pebble stone-tiled water feature, which makes you feel as though you’re already at the beach! Inside includes an office with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves – perfect for reading material when you’re sitting on the sand. As if the main beach (pretty much two steps from the back door) wasn’t enough, there’s a secret beach tucked under the house with an outdoor shower, fire pit, a tv and seating area.  This four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom house also has a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the ocean.  Just remember – lifeguard not included.

Colin Cowherd

(5 bed, 4 bath, 3,714 sq. ft., US$3.2 million)

FOR SALE: From rental to on the market – yeah, you ‘Herd’ right!  American sports media personality Colin Cowherd is selling his 3,714-square-foot home in Manhattan Beach for $3.2 million, which was previously on the rental market for $15,000 a month.  The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home has vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring and state of the art kitchen appliances from Sub-Zero to Wolf kitchen.  From the living room there is a disappearing door system which leads out to a patio with a built-in-barbeque and fire pit.  Located right near the ocean, it’s the perfect place for Colin to wind down after grinding people’s gears on Fox Sports Radio.
