Your favourite celebs are in a selling mood, with several stars offloading luxury properties in pairs. From Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s contrasting Pacific Palisade properties, to Johnny Depp’s twin penthouses, check out the high-end real estate trading hands this week.

Harry Styles’ Lavish Manhattan Loft

(3 bed, 3.5 bath, 2,868 sq. ft., $8.71 million)

BOUGHT: Harry Styles, the former One Direction frontman with recent solo status, has reportedly purchased a super secure luxury loft in one of New York City’s most coveted celebrity buildings. Aside from neighbouring the homes of Jennifer Lawrence and Justin Timberlake, this stunning unit (one of only 45 in the pre-war building), is outfitted with luxurious details, from arched windows, high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances, and rustic wood supports. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the master suite with natural light, while a marble-accented ensuite boasts a deep soaker tub and roomy stand-up steam shower. If that’s not a sign of profitable times, we don’t know what is.

Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson’s Neighbouring Pacific Palisades Properties

(House 1: 4 bed, 4 bath, 3,930 sq. ft. US$8.75 million | House 2: 7 bed, 6 bath, 7,260 sq. ft., US$9.25 million)

SOLD: Acting power spouses Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have finally offloaded these side-by-side properties, located on highly-sought Amalfi Drive, for a combined $17,500,500, after listing for $18 million last August. “House One” is a charming Spanish-style abode, complete with terra cotta roofing, custom clay tiles, and antique wood doors. “House Two” couldn’t be more different, built in the English style with grey and white brick, and even a turret. Why stick with just one architectural style? After all, variety (and multi millions of dollars) is the spice of life!

Kylie Jenner’s Beverly Hills Rental

($125,000 / month, US$35 million)

RENTED: The real estate mogul member of the Kardashian crew has been holed up in a very pricey rental in the Hollywood Hills, despite owning a portfolio of several perfectly-good luxury properties. We can’t blame her for wanting to spend time in this astounding modern-Mediterranean mansion, though – not only does it offer breathtaking views, palm-lined yard with pool and spa, tennis court, and marble finishes throughout, it has a library with a built-in bar. What better way for Miss Jenner to brush up on the literary classics?

Johnny Depp’s Leftover LA Penthouses

(Penthouse 1: 2 bed, 2.5 bath, 2,260 sq. ft., US$2.475 million | Penthouse 2: 2 bed, 2.5 bath, 2,490 sq. ft., US$2.385 million)

FOR SALE: Swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp has been trying to offload his collection of five Los Angeles penthouses – and he’s down to the last two! Both located in the Art Deco-designed Eastern Columbia building, these quirky units combine eclectic tastes with classic luxury. Both penthouses include custom tiling and hardwood, exposed brick bedrooms, and direct access to the leisure terrace with saltwater pool, sundeck and fitness studio access. They’re the perfect place to stash your pirates’ booty, yarrr.
