From searching for “cheapest houses for sale” to “luxury homes,” prospective buyers are looking for their next home. We pulled the top ten searched cities to find where people want to move. We’ve sorted them in order of most to least searched.

Toronto Real Estate

Toronto is the largest city in Canada and the provincial capital of Ontario. It is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world and has a vibrant culture that attracts visitors from all over. The city features numerous attractions, such as the world-renowned CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and bustling entertainment districts like The Danforth.

Richmond Hill is a vibrant city located in the center of the Greater Toronto Area. The city also features two distinct shopping centres: Hillcrest Mall and Richmond Heights Shopping Plaza.

Whitby Real Estate

Whitby is a town located in the eastern part of Durham Region, home to one of the oldest harbours in Canada. The city boasts a well-preserved heritage district with charming 19th-century architecture. The harbourfront area offers plenty of attractions like museums, galleries, restaurants, shops and a lively marina.

Whitby offers a variety of outdoor activities and is mainly known for its two stunning beaches, which provide visitors and locals with breathtaking views over Lake Ontario. Whitby also has plenty to offer in culture, like several theatres, including the musical theatre center Whitby Lyric Theatre and live music venues like the historic Opera House. Whitby is a fantastic place to live with its vibrant attractions and stunning scenery!

So far in 2023, homes in Whitby are selling for an average price of $1,037,531 – far below the GTA’s average price of 1,439,735.

Scarborough Real Estate

Scarborough is a vibrant city in the east of Toronto. It’s home to an expansive waterfront coastline and numerous parks and green spaces. From upscale restaurants to shopping districts and museums, Scarborough has plenty to offer for nature lovers and foodies alike..

Scarborough’s many beaches make for the ideal summertime destination – perfect for swimming, sunbathing, geocaching, and volleyball.  The town also features cultural activities such as music festivals, theatre performances, art exhibits, etc. Other attractions include Scarborough Bluffs Park with its stunning views of Lake Ontario, the lush Rouge National Urban Park, the scenic Glen Stewart Ravine Nature Reserve, and so much more! Hamilton Real Estate
