1. Commercial Drive

This eclectic and diverse neighbourhood attracts young professionals seeking an affordable alternative to downtown living.

Located just east of Vancouver’s downtown core, Commercial Drive offers plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops creating a lively atmosphere all year round.

The area also has excellent public transit links making it easy to get around the city.

2. Gastown

With its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and trendy boutiques, Gastown is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Vancouver.

It has numerous art galleries as well as some of the best restaurants in the city. This neighbourhood also boasts great nightlife with plenty of bars and clubs to explore on weekends.

3. Kitsilano

Located near the beaches on English Bay, this vibrant neighbourhood is an ideal place for young families and new homeowners alike seeking a coastal lifestyle without sacrificing access to urban amenities.

Kitsilano offers plenty of parks, green spaces, and outdoor activities as well as some great restaurants and shops along West 4th Avenue.

4. Yaletown

Yaletown is one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Vancouver located just south of False Creek between Science World and Granville Island Market Place (GMP).

The area offers plenty of upscale shopping options including designer boutiques, chic cafes, and stylish restaurants as well as some stunning waterfront views from its many high-rise condominiums overlooking False Creek.

5. Mount Pleasant

This booming neighbourhood has seen tremendous growth over recent years thanks to its close proximity to downtown Vancouver yet still maintains an independent local character with lots of small businesses such as coffee shops, restaurants, and vintage clothing stores along Main Street or Kingsway Avenue.

There are also several parks throughout the area making it perfect for young families or those looking for a quieter lifestyle while still being close enough to downtown amenities like theatres or sports venues at BC Place Stadium or Rogers Arena.

6. Chinatown/Strathcona

Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood is still one of its most exciting areas with plenty of unique restaurants serving up authentic Asian cuisine alongside bakeries selling dim sum pastries or bubble tea stands that offer refreshing drinks on hot days along Pender Street or Keefer Street.

Chinatown/Strathcona also hosts numerous festivals throughout the year showcasing traditional Chinese culture such as music performances or lion dances during Lunar New Year celebrations at Dr Sun Yat Sen Park or Chinese Garden Tea House along Carrall Street .

7. West End/Davie Street

The West End/Davie Street area is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in all of Vancouver.

This area consists primarily of high-rise buildings and condo developments, but it also includes some single-family homes too. It’s home to plenty of great restaurants and bars frequented by locals and tourists alike — plus it’s only a few blocks away from Stanley Park!
