[Tweet “#TorontoHomeSales up again in September pushing the average price $573,676”]

September tells the same story that Toronto has seen for months – active listings are down (-5.1%), sales are up (+10.9%) and competition is strong pushing prices up to an average selling price of $573,676 (+7.7%).   Once again, price increases have been up on all major home types with semi-detached homes in the 416 area leading the charge and posting 12.2% growth in price.  Notably, September’s condo market saw significant growth in sales not only in the 416 but also in the 905 with sales up an impressive 32.2% pushing the average price over the $300,000 – this is a sign that the condo lifestyle is being embraced throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
