Oakville is a vibrant community situated on the northern shores of Lake Ontario in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Founded in 1857, Oakville is renowned for its proximity to two major cities (Toronto and Hamilton), its access to three highways, accessible public transit, and world-class attractions such as Niagara Falls.

Oakville is a golf town, home to one of Canada’s most famous golf courses, the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame. Beautiful nature scenes surround the area, including McCraney Valley Park and Nottinghill Gate.

It offers 1,420 hectares of parkland, 150 kilometres of trails and more than 200 parks, garden plots, dog parks, playgrounds, skateboard parks, splash pads, sports fields, tennis courts and 31 waterfront parks. The high standard of living and quality education make Oakville one of Ontario’s most coveted residential and business centres.
