In order to do these knockout listings, I look through about 100 homes each week. After seeing thousands of homes and choosing some terrific ones, I can honestly say that there are very few I would buy myself (were I ready to buy). They’re all gorgeous—don’t get me wrong—but a few stand out to me.

This is one of those few.

This 100-year-old Victoria semi-detached in Cabbagetown is oozing charm, and really has everything you (or I, apparently,) would want. Not only has it been restored in the right places—modern country kitchen with stainless steel appliances, built-in bookcases in the living room—it includes the home’s original proportions and custom millwork. The character of the entire house, from the crown mouldings to the cozy family room that overlooks the backyard, makes this one heck of a knockout. There’s also a large, open basement that’s begging to be finished, for those who need a project and want some extra space.

Okay, we're starting with this incredible porch. If you don't want to buy this house based on this porch alone, you're nuts and we're not friends.
The house has soaring ceilings. No hitting your head in this zone!
Yes, those are hardwood floors and built-in bookcases. Our theme today is charm and we have so. much. of it.
Look at these floors! And the kitchen looks into the backyard! And the white on white on—I can't even handle this.
The dining room is just a win. So much win.
There's an adorable family room/nook in the back of the house. Walks out to the patio, backyard, and all your barbecue party dreams.
Okay, this house has to cool it with the charm. What is this floor. What is that window thing. What is everything.
Master bedroom has 9.75' ceilings. Maybe this is a house for giants? Or just really lucky people.
And a big backyard too. Look at the little stone area! This is too much. I'm out.

344 Berkeley Street | Toronto | 2000–2500 square feet | $1,190,000 | Vincci Kumabe, Realosophy Realty Inc., Brokerage

These kinds of homes make Toronto what it is, so be sure to check it out before it’s too late! And check back next week for another knockout!
