Does a person have to be a licensed realtor to sell new homes?

Zoocasa Ask PROs Question of the Week:

“Does a person have to be a licensed realtor or agent to sell new homes for a builder in Ontario Canada? Where can I find information to back up the answer?”

This week’s featured answer:

As a non comission employee you are allowed to sell new homes for a builder. The information can be found in REBBA 2002 (Real Estate Business Brokers Act). It states the only instances where a person not regestered as a Real Estate Salesperson may sell Real Property other then their own.
