About St Catharines, Ontario

Nicknamed “The Garden City”, St. Catharines is the largest city in the Niagara Region and the sixth largest urban area in Ontario. It is located south of Toronto across Lake Ontario and near the US-Canada border crossing along the Niagara River. Manufacturing is the city’s dominant economic driver, with General Motors of Canada acting as the anchor company for the city’s economy. St. Catharines is also one of the main telecommunications backbones between Canada and US and as a result, the city hosts a number of call centres.
