Sauble Beach 

One of Ontario’s most popular beach spots, Sauble Beach stretches 10 kilometers of sand along Lake Huron. The beach is ready for summertime guests, with eateries located directly behind it providing the usual beach fare, such as ice cream and other refreshments. In addition to water sports like jet skiing, kiteboarding, and stand-up paddleboarding, Sauble Beach is a well-known spot for playing a game of volleyball.

Top Beach Destinations in Ontario: Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Beach is the world’s longest freshwater beach and it’s just a 90 minute drive  away from Toronto. This beach, which stretches for 14 kilometers in a long, curved arc along Nottawasaga Bay, welcomes more than two million tourists each season. Wasaga Beach is great for families with tiny children and individuals who are not strong swimmers because of the warm, shallow water.

Sandbanks Provincial Park

One of the most distinctive beaches in all of Ontario can be found at Sandbanks Provincial Park. This beachfaces Lake Ontario and is well-known for its huge sand dunes that drop into the ocean. Youngsters and old at heart can splash into the water as they race down the dunes. Sandbanks Provincial Park is situated close to Belleville in Prince Edward County. Apart from the stunning shoreline and sand dunes, the park provides some of Ontario’s best camping experiences.

Killbear Provincial Park

Killbear Provincial Park is a provincial park close to the town of Nobel in Ontario’s Parry Sound District, situated on Georgian Bay. Killbear mixes the sand dunes of the Great Lakes with the Canadian Shield’s pines and rocky slopes and hosts seven campgrounds nestled among towering trees, making it one of the most visited parks in Ontario.

Agawa Bay

Ask any local: the beaches at Agawa Bay in Lake Superior Provincial Park are among the nicest in the province. The northern shore of Lake Superior boasts amazing long lengths of amber-colored sand with shallow, crystal-clear waters. Families planning a beach camping holiday will find this to be an especially lovely location. Set on the beach beneath massive pine trees are charming campsites along the seaside and camping on the beach’s edge is one of the best things to do in the park.
