Ready to count the millions of dollars your favourite celebrities have been spending or making on prime real estate this past week? From famous comedians to well-decorated Olympians, check out the glitterati’s latest home transactions in this edition of Celebrity Homes.

Seth Meyers’ Greenwich Village duplex

(5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 3,200 sq. ft.) – US$7.5 million

JUST BOUGHT: Saturday Night Live alum and late night talk show host Seth Meyers just purchased a duplex in one of the fanciest blocks in Manhattan. The home comes fully equipped with two wood-burning fireplaces, eat-in kitchen, and has loads of natural light (a total of 26 windows!), but the most stunning thing about the property are the views of the West Village. I don’t think Seth or his family will have a problem calling this home for the next little while.

Sia’s Los Feliz home

(5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 5,161 sq. ft.) – US$4.75 million

JUST SOLD: Five-time Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Sia may croon about cheap thrills, but is selling her Mediterranean-inspired home for a pretty penny after living in it for only a year. The architectural wonder features embellished accents, wood carvings, stained-glass murals and beautifully shaped ceilings. The best part of the home, though, has to be the cityscape views from the sun room.

Ashley Tisdale’s Studio City home

(5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 5,000 sq. ft.) – US$2.7 million

FOR SALE: The former Disney teen queen, best known for her role in High School Musical, is listing her Cape Cod-style home just one year after buying it (is there a trend here?). Tucked behind a gated community, this gorgeous piece of property includes a fireplace, dual walk-in closets, luxurious spa-like bath, home theatre, saltwater pool, and a 90-inch projection screen! Who needs to go to the movies with that in your basement?

Michael Phelps’s Scottsdale home

(5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, 6,000 sq. ft.) – US$2.5 million

JUST BOUGHT: The former American competitive swimmer – and the most decorated Olympian of all time – has just snapped up his retirement home. Sitting on an acre of land, this Arizona oasis features not one, not two, but four fireplaces, an oversized pool (duh?), hot tub, outdoor shower, eat-in marble center island, and a barbecue. If you think you can take down the retired 28-time Olympic medalist, take yourself to Scottsdale and ask him for a challenge – if you can withstand his glare.

Joe McHale’s Los Angeles home

(4 bedrooms, 3 full and 2 half bathrooms, 3,451 sq. ft.) – US$2.395 million

FOR SALE: Actor and comedian Joe McHale, best known for his role on the sitcom “Community”, is selling his late-1940s home. Initially purchased in 2007 for US$1.88 million, McHale is hoping make close to US$400,000 from the sale. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, this home boasts two fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, a wine fridge, built-in coffee and espresso machine (yes, you heard that right), a master bedroom with a claw-footed tub in the en-suite bathroom, and a courtyard-like stone terrace.
