Recreational opportunities abound with this 14 acre plus island in the Wabash River with camping and fishing in a unique, private location a short boat ride away from public access points at Logansport, Indiana. Kienly Island was a stop on the Interurban rail system in the last century and boasted a small resort type area at the time. There are no structures on the island (the photos shown are from post cards advertising the stop and resort, circa 1930's/40's) although portions of the island are in lesser flood zones. Numerous historic documents will be available to the new owner, including abstracts of title showing property deeded to the original Western owners by President Martin Van Buren. In same family ownership for at least the last 50-60 years!
