Access located just North of Genesis Organic, 7 kms east in from North Shore Highway in the Bay of Islands, site situated along the North side of the Humber river. The land is comprised of some 60 acres of crown leased land of which 25 acres were cleared and tile drained for agriculture. An additional 15 acres were rough cleared, which would at present need some renovation. The remaining land is a peat bog and wood lot. The soil types are varied from sandy loam to muck soils to peat. There is no rock here and are ideally suited to many crops. i.e.. from carrot, onions, lettuce to cranberries. The land is fairly level with exceptions on the North boundaries. It has an underlying clay based soil which requires drainage. There is more land in the area for expansion if required.
