After seeing thousands of homes and choosing some terrific ones, I can honestly say that there are very few I would buy myself (were I ready to buy). They&#8217;re all gorgeous\u2014don&#8217;t get me wrong\u2014but a few stand out to me.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of those few.<\/p>\n<p>This 100-year-old Victoria semi-detached in Cabbagetown is <em>oozing<\/em> charm, and really has everything you (or I, apparently,) would want. Not only has it been restored in the right places\u2014modern country kitchen with stainless steel appliances, built-in bookcases in the living room\u2014it includes the home&#8217;s original proportions and custom millwork. The character of the entire house, from the crown mouldings to the cozy family room that overlooks the backyard, makes this one heck of a knockout.
