The results of a biannual survey, released this week by real estate search and marketing portal Trulia<\/a>, found that 80 percent of homeowners plan to buy another home, and that most survey participants view homeownership, and placing money in retirement account, as the best long-term investments. Market research firm Harris Interactive conducted the survey, which drew responses from 1,392 homeowners and 758 renters, from Aug. 30, 2011, to Sept. 1, 2011.<\/p>\n

What’s REALLY interesting is that the majority of those polled were in the USA!<\/p>\n

80% of current homeowners plan to buy another home in the future.<\/p>\n

57% thinking Owning A Home is the safest investment<\/p>\n

52% are putting money in an RSP<\/p>\n

29% are buying mutual funds<\/p>\n

26% are buying GOLD<\/p>\n

25% are buying stocks<\/p>\n

15% are buying gov’t bonds<\/p>\n

11% are keeping cash under the mattress!<\/p>\n
