As the sixth-largest city in Ontario and Canada&#8217;s 10th-largest city, it serves as a regional hub for surrounding communities. It lies between Toronto and Detroit at the confluence of the Thames River, offering plenty of opportunity with its universities, colleges, and hospitals. Many festivals and events are held in London, including Sunfest, Home County Folk Festival, Pride London Festival, and Rock the Park, to celebrate music and culture worldwide. The cost of living is also lower than in other cities in the region, with an average home price of $653,611. Sales figures improved dramatically from February into March, with a 55% increase as 468 homes traded hands, and new listings have also increased by 45%, with 712 homes listed for sale in March.
