There are many fantastic livable areas in Calgary, so let&#8217;s find out which one suits you before making an offer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a list of five of Calgary&#8217;s great neighbourhoods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoocasa.com\/calgary-ab-real-estate\/bridgeland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bridgeland\/Riverside, Calgary<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bridgeland\/Riverside neighbourhood is in northeast Calgary and is considered one of the city&#8217;s most desirable neighbourhoods. If you&#8217;re a &#8220;foodie&#8221;, there&#8217;s no better place to be. Bridgeland is home to some of the most incredible restaurants, caf\u00e9s, diners, and speciality markets you&#8217;ll find anywhere. \u201cThis neighbourhood is great for families. It\u2019s close to the Science Centre, Calgary Zoo and has many amenities,\u201d explains Trung Bien, real estate agent at eXp Realty. \u201cIt\u2019s really a family neighbourhood, but it\u2019s seeing lots of development, especially in terms of new condo construction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bridgeland\/Riverside is within easy walking distance of Downtown Calgary and is an excellent choice for families and couples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoocasa.com\/calgary-ab-real-estate\/inglewood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Inglewood, Calgary<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Inglewood neighbourhood is in southeast Calgary and is known for its many businesses, art galleries, and restaurants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inglewood is one of the most popular communities for a reason: from its location in central Calgary to its rich history dating back to 1875, Inglewood offers residents a unique and immersive community experience. And with its abundance of festivals, restaurants, and shops, there&#8217;s always something new to explore. \u201cThis is personally my favourite neighbourhood, as it\u2019s where I live,\u201d Bien continued. \u201cIt\u2019s a vibrant area with lots of boutique shops, restaurants, and microbreweries, and compared to some other higher-end communities, the affordability is great, especially for the younger demographic that gravitates towards it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re looking for a community that has it all, Inglewood should be at the top of your list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoocasa.com\/blog\/creb-october-2022\/\"><strong>Read: Calgary Sales Numbers Projected to Hit a New Record: CREB<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoocasa.com\/hillhurst-calgary-ab-real-estate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kensington\/Hillhurst<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kensington\/Hillhurst is a most sought-after neighbourhood with plenty of options for families and young professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This inner-city district is centrally located close to downtown and other desirable areas making living here extremely convenient. It&#8217;s walkable and pedestrian-friendly. If you&#8217;re in Kensington, check out one of the many restaurants or cafes, go shopping in some of the boutiques, or visit one of the local galleries. \u201cResidents of this neighbourhood love to spend time outside, walking or biking on trails and meeting up with friends and family,\u201d said Bien. \u201cThere are many new businesses popping up as well as lowrise and highrise buildings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kensington\/Hillhurst has something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoocasa.com\/calgary-ab-real-estate\/signal-hill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Signal Hill<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family-friendly community of Signal Hill is located in the city&#8217;s Southwest quadrant, making it a great place to call home. It&#8217;s an ideal choice for those looking for a smaller community feel without being too far from the city. \u201cI lived on the west side for more than 15 years and Signal Hill is a stand out neighbourhood great for families,\u201d explains Mark Neustaedter, real estate agent at eXp Realty. \u201cResidents love the access to the mountains as well as the close proximities to amenities including the LRT station, shopping, dining, and more.\u201d Neustaedter explained that the area is also known for its great private school options, but there also many public schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The nearby west LRT station provides easy access to downtown. And let&#8217;s not forget the Flames &#8211; hockey season is alive and kicking with Flames fever on 17th.
