With housing market crash predictions dominating the media headlines lately we wanted to visually showcase how the Canadian housing market differs from the US at the height of the mortgage crisis. Our infographic outlines Canada’s risk factors – high housing prices, ultra-low interest rates, record levels of household debt and low income growth – but also outlines the regulatory differences that shield Canada from the magnitude of housing bubble and crash that occurred in the American market.
