Selena Gomez’s Fort Worth Estate
(5 bed, 6.5 bath, 10,016 sq. ft., US$3 million)
FOR SALE: If you’re ready, come and get it – Selena Gomez’s Texas estate, that is. One of the priciest homes in Fort Worth, this English-style home was scooped up only two years ago the Dallas-county native and has already had its listing price chopped by a half mil. It includes two master suites (one featuring a walk-in closet and coffee bar), kitchen with island, and great room with fireplace. It also has enough amenities to rival a four-star resort with crafts room, media room, saltwater swimming pool, putting green and tennis court. No word whether a shirtless Beibs, Gomez’s former squeeze, was ever spotted roaming the massive property.
Calvin Klein’s Tasteful Spanish Sanctuary
(5 bed, 7 bath, 5,802 sq. ft., US$13.15 million)
SOLD: The American designer, known for the clean, preppy aesthetic that defined 90’s fashion, has sold his stylish Mediterranean-style Miami beach house for just over $13 million. Built in 1929, and bought by Klein in 2004, the home has been entirely remodeled by European craftsmen and renowned interior designer Axel Vervoordt, who perfected everything from the flooring to the finishes. The result is a truly stunning mix of old and new-world architecture, with austere – yet luxurious – details, surrounded by regional tropical foliage.
Tommy Hilfiger’s Pop Art Miami Beach House
(7 bed, 12 bath, 14,000 sq. ft., US$27.5 million)
FOR SALE: Speaking of 90s fashion legends, Tommy Hilfiger, best known for his line of red, white and blue luxury clothing, is also offloading some Miami real estate – but its design couldn’t be further from Klein’s neutral aesthetic. Channeling a pop-art, Warhol-esque vibe, each room features a separate colour and geometric scheme (and reportedly scratch and sniff wallpaper). There are nearly too many eclectic spaces to count, from the groovy living room with mirrored ceiling and swirled carpet, to office decked out in Hilfiger’s traditional navy and red block motif. The property also features a swimming pool with ocean view, gym, games room, and outdoor fire pit.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tribeca Condo
(3 bed, 3.5 bath, 3,892 sq. ft., US$9.99 million)
FOR SALE: The home formerly shared by goop lifestyle guru and actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has returned to the market with a price cut, having lingered since its March 2016 listing. The A-list couple, who have been trying to offload the property following their “conscious uncoupling”, decorated the massive unit in soothing cream and lavender tones, including an all-white kitchen with marble counters. Large arched windows and 11-foot ceilings flood the living space with natural light, and amenities include a 24-hour doorman. Here’s hoping it’ll have more interest at the low, low price of $10 million.
Jane Fonda’s Beverly Hills Mansion
(4 bed, 6.5 bath, 36,000 sq. ft., US$12.99 million)
FOR SALE: The fitness mogul and actress, along with long-time partner Richard Perry, has decided to list her massive Beverly Hills home, located within the exclusive Trousdale Estates (Elvis and Courtney Cox have also called the neighbourhood home). It’s a truly luxurious abode with canyon views, massive living area, gym, pool, media room, his and hers master suites and walk in closets. – and a glass elevator to the main floor. Now that’s living like a movie star!
Michael Jackson’s Now-Renamed Neverland Ranch
(5 bed, 12,600 sq. ft., US$67 million)
FOR SALE: The estate once owned by the late king of pop has returned to the market, newly renovated and with $33 million shaved off its listing price. Listed as a joint venture between Jackson’s estate and real estate investment trust Colony Northstar, the property has been reverted to Sycamore Valley Ranch, its pre-Neverland moniker. While the rides and exotic animals have been removed, there are still a few tributes to Jackson’s time there, including a floral Neverland clock, train station, swans and a llama. The massive 12,600 square-foot Normandy-style main house is just part of the package – there are over 22 buildings on the property including two guesthouses and two staff houses, dance studio, and 50-seat movie theatre. It could be your chance to own a piece of pop music history – and with three full parcels of land included, build an empire of your own.
