I charge a flat-fee of $850 for the listing. This amount is subject to HST and is paid upfront. In Kelowna, I highly recommend that when the house is sold, you offer a commission to the agent representing the buyer for an amount of 3% on the first $100,000 and 1.5% on the remainder of the sell price. I serve the Vancouver Island sellers and buyers. I can list your home in Kelowna when I get the proper information from you. Please see my website www.nicolechampagne.com for more details on the services included with the $850 fee. Some of the services are not available outside Vancouver Island and they will be specified in the listing contract.

You may also want to work with a conventional agent. Fair Realty is represented by 4 agents in Kelowna. I will give you the names when you contact me at n.champagne@ymail.com. They will give you the commission they charge for listing a home.

There are no charges to advertise the home, your Realtor will do this for you. You have to be under a valid contract with your Realtor.

The obvious and most powerful answer here is hiring a great REALTOR®, and the charge is in the commission that is paid should the home sell.

However, there are other options for sellers that are looking to save money. For example, Mr. B-Listed™ is a British Columbian flat fee listing company that lists for sale by owner properties on the MLS® System for $499. Additional tools are available on an as-needed basis. To maximize Buyer's Agent cooperation, Mr. B-Listed™ always recommends that a full Buyer's Agent commission is offered. In Kelowna, this is 3.5% on the first $100k, and 1.5% on the remainder. Using this selling model, and assuming the seller follows the Mr. B-Listed™ Sellers Guide, he/she should expect to save 40% compared to using a traditional REALTOR® selling model.

I would hire a Full Service Realtor like myself. A Full Service Realtor will List/Market/Advertise your home, and Protect your interests. If your home does not sell it costs you ZERO. or you could go with agents who employ the "3P" approach
Post on the MLS, Plant a sign on your lawn, & Pray ... all for a fee and No Guarantee.
Visit RE/MAX at remax.ca for a qualified Realtor. Nobody Sells More Real Estate Than RE/MAX.
