I would have to say no, everything needs to be signed and authorized, or you may be in some fault the local council, here in Ontario we have RECO and BC I believe has RECBC. As Bob says, check with your broker for further info on how you could get out of the listing.

As you know, when a client signs an agreement with you, they are actually agreeing to work with the Brokerage, with you as the Agent. Although you may wish to not work with the clients, the Brokerage has the final say. The Broker-of-Record may wish to send another Agent in your stead to work with the clients.
We are instruments of the clients, so what they say goes. I would recommend talking with your Broker as well. Good luck!
