Am thinking of buying a condo unit in NDG on Oxford right by de Maisonneuve (above the tracks). Is this a good area to buy? Will it be easy to sell considering a super hospital is being built nearyby BUT the condo is right by the tracks AND there is a giant radio tower looming right behind it.

    Good Afternoon,

I'm sorry that your question has not been answered sooner. A lot of times when we are selling properties, we ask our sellers for some of the reasons why they bought their home. This helps us create a property profile and attract buyers with similar interests that may appreciate some of the similar things that our sellers do. NDG as you know is a very popular area in Montreal, with home prices that increase very nicely. If you're asking yourself whether or not the location near the tracks and a radio tower is a good location, personally, I would try and steer a buyer away from that (just because it might be more difficult to resell). Considering the market, and wide property availability, I would perhaps consider looking around some more, especially if you are looking to resell in the next few years.

If there is any other way I could be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me, it would be my pleasure to go over some more of this information with you and find a solution that would meet your needs and your desired price range.

    Best Regards,

To be honest, i never said to one of my clients to buy near a track because there's so many condo's in Montreal, so why not take the best locations!!!!

It is preferable to avoid buying a property close to a giant radio tower.
