As a non-Realtor you can go down to the registry office and find out how much it sold for as that information is public domain. Realtors have access electronically and can access land registry from their own computers online. The easiest way is to either ask the purchaser or call your local Real Estate Resource (Agent). If you don't have one, just call one that has a for sale sign up in your neighborhood.
