when looking at realtor's listing in windsor/essex, why do they include the bedroom, bathroom and sq footage in the basement? how come they don't include the measurement of all the rooms?

In Windsor/Essex, we have some data that is mandatory to fill in on an MLS listing, such as price, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, price etc. etc.

However, a lot of it is also optional; in regard to square footage of each room, that is not a mandatory fill in.

Not sure where you saw just square footage in a basement, that is rare, particularly just the basement. As a top producer in the area I can safely say I've never seen that instance before.
