Brevoort Park neighbourhood to the south of 8th Street is close to the amenities offered by the 8th Street Arterial Commercial District hosting the Circle 8 Centre and Bedford Square strip mall. Market Mall on Preston Avenue is also nearby. Across Taylor Street is the Nutana Suburban Centre which provides easy acces to both public and separate secondary schools: Walter Murray Collegiate and Holy Cross High School.

History

This neighborhood came to fruition in the 1960s.

Layout

Roads are laid out in a grid fashion in the northern region by 8th Street East which is a main thoroughfare through the city of Saskatoon with easy access to intersecting provincial highways. Streets run east and west, Avenues run north and south. At 7th Street until the southern boundary of Taylor Street, the roads are a court system around Brevoort Park South and North. Circle Drive forms the eastern perimeter, and Preston Avenue the western perimeter.

Lifestyle

The Brevoort Park Community Associations provides many recreational activities for the residents ranging from yoga to kindergym. [6] [7]
