• My broker said not to make big purchase before closing date. I applied for a store card (i reduced to 1K limit) to get 10% off then cancel it, would this still affect my loan? My husband is planning to do the same thing too. Our credit rating is A+ and I have 20% DP. no credit/loans at all.

• I found a house for 360K and I have $72K DP. I have extra 20K but I need a car. Which way I can save money? put 20K as additional DP for the house or pay the car in cash? mortgage rate is 2.9% for 25yrs and the car loan would be 5.99% for 5 yrs.
