The spring market is in full swing and real estate activity is ramping up across the country! How does the price of your home stack up to those of your city, province or the national average? Check out the breakdown for Canadian average home prices for April 2014.
The Zoocasa team has compiled the average home prices from CREA from all of the provinces and two of the territories, as well as highlighted key cities for the month of April. Check out the interesting figures below:
- The national average home price has slightly increase to $410K compared to the prior month at $401K, but experienced an increase compared to $380K of the same time last year.
- Month-on-month increases were experienced in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and the Northwest Territories.
- The three provinces that have the lowest average home prices are New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
- The three provinces that had the highest average home prices are British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta.
